2.4.2. Remarketing / Retargeting / Tracking

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").

As part of Google AdWords, we use the so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for the personal identification of the users. If the user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has not expired yet, Google and we may recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of advertisers. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can opt-out of this by easily disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie through its Internet browser under User Preferences. You will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of "conversion cookies" is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

For more information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking, see the Google Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and that cookies are only allowed in individual cases the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally excluding and activating the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Affiliates

We work with advertisers to make the online offer on our site even more interesting for you. For this purpose, cookies are set by our advertising partners when visiting our site (so-called third-party cookies). In the cookies of our advertising partners, information is also stored using pseudonyms about your user behavior and your interests when visiting our site. Partly also information is recorded, which resulted before the visit of our site on other sites. On the basis of this information, you may be shown interest-based advertising impressions of our advertising partners. No personal data will be stored and no user profiles will be merged with personally identifiable information about you. The cookie is stored for a period of 30 days and then automatically deleted. You can prevent the interest-based advertising of our advertising partners by a corresponding cookie setting in your browser.

Third party in general

You can deactivate the use of such cookies by all third-party providers by calling up the network advertising initiative deactivation page and making the appropriate settings there or by using the following link http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ at any time. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, with the result that the services used do not process any session data. If necessary, you will not be able to use all functions on our digital services. All of the mentioned processing effects a data transmission to the servers of the providers of tracking or targeting technologies commissioned by us. Some of these servers are in the US. The data is transmitted on the basis of so-called standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plug-in, your browser connects directly to Instagram's servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted by Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are currently not logged in to Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is sent from your browser directly to an Instagram server in the US and stored there.
